I bought it new but had to sell it a few years back due to hard times. Checked the MOT register and its not been MOTd or Taxed since 2012. Anyone know what happened to it?

Err, I should apologise for this.

I owned this car back in 2012, I bought it from James @ Elite and it was a fabulous thing and some of the happiest 6 months of my life.

Then I was in an accident and it was written off.

The day I bought it

The day I lost it frown

Matt

long time no hear, that was a sad sight, I am assuming the OP wish he hadn't posted now for its whereabouts now we know why its had no MOT since 2012

See you now have a GTi MK7, what did you buy in 2012 after Monaro - impreza P1 ?

Suddenly I feel less bad about the scrape on the nearside mirror from my garage wall when it was 3 weeks old.....

Glad you survived relatively unscathed btw.

Hi James

Hope you're well. I never got into the Impreza, the wife nixed that so I had to pootle around in an Audi diesel for 4 months before I snapped and bought an E39 M5.

I will be back to see you at some point as the wife now has a new Golf Gti MK7 and I still have the lust for a Monaro smile Silver 6.0 VXR please smile

All the best

Matt

I feel sorry for you not being able to relive the nostalgia in quite the way you intended. The only time I've had a car written off and it was the one I most precious about.

Quite surprisingly these ebay ribbons (kind of) survived 157mph on the way to Milan.
