Out with the old, in with the new
Discussion
After almost getting cold feet a few times, I sold my banana to James @ Elite today. Very sad.
You've got a great car there James, one of the best sounding VXR8's there is, even though I do say so myself.
But on the plus side, I picked up my new (to me) Gen-F from Picadors this afternoon - yay!!
It's dark now and I have no pics of the car, so I've stolen some of the sale pics that Picador's took below - I'm sure they won't mind:
It's completely standard at the moment, but it won't stay that way for long

Thanks all for your comments. Having driven the normal daily commute this morning for the first time, it shows just how much of a nicer car the Gen-F is compared to its predecessors. Really does feel like a step up. Just needs some more power
I still love the yellow one. Never thought's I'd sell it. It all happened so fast really. Swapping for a Gen-F was a last minute idea and then I'd agreed the PX within just a few hours, although I ended up selling to Elite instead of Picadors. But so far I have no regrets.
Niggles over the old car so far are:
- No spare wheel!
- No handbrake lever, I'm not a fan of these electric parking brakes.
The HUD is my new favourite toy it has to be said, blooming fantastic that is. The touch screen is much improved, and that Bose sound system is flipping fantastic, especially when the standard exhaust is so quiet.
Build register will of course be updated soon

Mine has a full size spare wheel but it takes up half the boot LOL I have got used to the electric hand brake, the VXR8 has a dire looking lever when it was up, glad that has gone, as you say the Bose stereo is the nuts and so is the head up display, withlane guidance and colision alert its a great car for texting while on the move, I'm only jojing on the last bit!!!!!
