Hello & My quest for a Monaro
Discussion
Hi I'm Ed from Derby.
As you may guess by my user name I'm not new to V8's just not new V8's.
I've got a 68 Firebird but want a decent daily driver. About 15k per year.
I'm settled on a Monaro, just need to find one!
Been to see a couple. One listed as stunning was anything but!!!!!
Another is a possibility, it needs:-
Strutt top mounts - easy enough ?
diff clunks a tiny bit - but think a bit of friction modifier will sort
bit of paint on stone chips - to make pretty
wheel refurb - easy enough when replacing tyres.
and the biggy looks like brake pipes - are they located drivers side below drivers seat I recall some rough looking pipes?
Any thoughts on above points / advice??
Thanks
Ed
