Real MPG comparison
Discussion
Ok, I know people like to talk about MPG and the difference between cars, mods, models.
So I have thought of a way to give a real review of how your car and how you drive it shows the real MPG.
So the rule is you must show a eading of over 20 gallons. This will negate people that hypermile and try to squeeze as much mpg out of the car.
Also give a representation of how it was driven. So for instance 'motorway miles all the way'.
So Ill go first. This is my car VXR8 61 plate E3, been tuned and has cat back zorst.
This was a combination of commuting on duel carriageways and town driving, with the occasional goofing around
So 22.2 Mpg with an average speed of 35 Mph

Anyone who has changed injectors is likely to struggle with an OBC shot, I know my fuel scaler is wrong
The only way to calculate mpg...is literally do just that.Calculate from full tank to full tank fuel used and actual mileage done ( assuming odometer also reads correctly )
