Stick made me one up out of copper stock. I guess if you have the swaging(?) tool you can make something up with a generic cooler, but mine just loops around a bit!

edit: I may be thinking of the wrong part, but it may be DIY'able if you've got a mechanic and not a fitter...

I replaced mine with a Cavalier MK 3 cooling power steering pipe, fits in place a dream with very little adapting to connect to the rest of system pipe work. Also you have the added advantage that the above pipe as a plastic type coating on it to prevent rusting. I put a second hand one on mine years ago and its still no rust on it and its cheaper, simples.

Freaky my PAS pipe same one has failed just under the crank pulley in the bracket part. Andy from Monkfish said he is getting some in stock from OZ. However if you search kelpro hps088 that looks the same exact part for a commodore VZ.

If you remove it. Your local hose place can make you a new one up

Top tip - Just Ordered One thumbup

Trouble is ALL the UK Monaros were built at pretty much the same time and subsequently will suffer age related deterioration at the same time.

Gonna Spray mine with stone chip or similar before fitting as a precaution.nerd

Getting my old one repaired to get me back on the road in the meantime.rolleyes

Have you reserved one with Monkfish or have you ordered straight from OZ? I'm just waiting for a final price from Monkfish to see which is going to be cheaper/best option. On top of this noticed the radiator is leaking too, so a new Mishimoto one has been ordered.

See my previous comment up the page, ring Vauxhall for a power steering cooling pipe for a MK3 2ltr Cavalier, I bet you can still get one, and it wont rust like Holden one

Any idea if the other metal hose (without rubber flexy) is the same as the Cavalier one? could do with one rather than making one as I like the idea of the swagged ends. Mine is for a VY ute which I should imagine is the same as a Monaro.

Its that long since I did it I cannot remember, sorry, but if it did not I still got it to work OK.
One thing I can remember is that I made flex rubber hoses go through the point where it goes through body work as this is the area all the rust and leak was on mine. Hope that helps.
