Last year I made a thread about wheels on the Monaro (http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&t=1486050&mid=147778) my general query was regarding the width of wheel that you can have on the car.
Since then I've invested in a Pedders Xtreme Coilover Kit from monkfish and I've had a word with myself and opted to stay with 19" as my diam.
What I have available to me is the following.
Front: 19x8.5 ET40
Rear: 19x9.5 ET40
With my coilovers and the right choice of tyre I don't think this will be a problem but I wanted to ask just for a quick sanity check

I have 19x8.5 ET45 front and rear with coilovers. The front is fine, but the back, only on one side catches.Since then I've invested in a Pedders Xtreme Coilover Kit from monkfish and I've had a word with myself and opted to stay with 19" as my diam.

With the extra width you have at the back and that offset i would say it will rub and may not even fit without arch work.

What sort of wheels are you thinking going for?Since then I've invested in a Pedders Xtreme Coilover Kit from monkfish and I've had a word with myself and opted to stay with 19" as my diam.

Et40 on 10" rears is about right. You WILL have to heavily roll your arches to clear though, concentrating on the point wherel the arch meets the bumper. Rolled my own on the VXR8 as brought the same kit as Arch Enemy uses, it's quite easy to do so long as you get the paint really warm!
