Is it stright forward enough to remove the inlet manifold? By straight forward I mean is there anything I need to be aware of, any gotchas? For example replacment gaskets being required etc. I'm sending mine away to be painted.

Additionally what is size of the standard throttle body and would a replacement unit from fast fir the stiock intake? Just a few ideas I'm having until I can afford my charger biggrin

Watch out for the MAP and knock sensors...actually, I think these (knock sensors at least) vary LS1/LS2, but someone will set you straight on LS2.

The LS2 TB has 4 bolts - that's what you need to check...well, and whether it's electronic.

The LS2 intake isn't great, so don't spend too much on tarting it up!

Other than fuel going everywhere when you disconnect or remove rails from injectors, and making sure you do not drop anything into the inlet ports...not a lot really.

the o-rings for the port seals are re-usable and it would be very rare for them to need replaced.
