Done the H9 bulb upgrade mod on my dipped beam today but noticed the projector lenses look foggy/dirty
Has anybody had these out to clean them, surely this would improve the light output a little more.
Can't say yet if the lights are much better yet till a night drive

I did not clean the lenses , but they are much better in the dark , please correct me if I'm wrong original bulbs are h7 and but cutting a tag off inside the bulb you can fit the h9 which is higher wattage

the best upgrade I found was fitting HID into the projectors.

its changing the dip H11 55w bulb for H9 65w bulb which is whats in the main beam
you just need to cut out the tag in the bulb so the plug fits, used a sharp knife, very easy.

If the projector lenses are anything like old Vx/Opel units then the silver is just a coating & will come off VERY easily when wiped. A tea towel (who would?) or even cotton wool was too harsh for those units & you'd end up making them worse.

TBOTSS I'd stick with just the bulb upgrade.

Gonna have a look to see if the Gen-f is the same. Could do with a bit more light
