Cubittus & I made it to the bitterly cold Virginia Water's event. A HUGE turn out. Must have been a good couple of hundered cars at least. Everything from Aston Martin's through to Ultima GTR's (No Zonda's unfortunately). But you know what! Just 1, count 'em, 1 Holden Commodore, and 1 Monaro VXR

When I arrived, I had 2 people running behind making bets as to what I was. Both lost. It was interesting to watch people stop as they went past. Look at the front. Then look at both sides. Have a conflab with their mates. Still have no clue and retire to the rear to find out more. The amount of amusing comments when they find out it's a 5.7 V8 under the hood kept my missis amused for hours as she tried to keep warm whilst reading her book. A lot more seemed to recognise the VXR from it's TV showings.

There were Ferarri's, Porsche's, TVR's, and Caterhams to cobble doggs with. Not that I mind. It was great to see so many in one place. Well worth going to next year if you can make it.

Lots of vid's & pics from the day, but no web space to put all 500MB of it unfortunately. I'll see what the event organiser can do.
