One touch windows - anyone found a mod.?
Discussion
One the VXR8 the front windows only are one touch and only downwards.
Considering, all four windows were one touch up and down as well as having anti-pinch on my GM Senator 24V back in 1993, the VXR8 seems quite backward.
Has anyone tried to get some modification to the VXR8's windows?
Thanks, Steve

I have never seen one-touch-up in the USA. I don't see how it can even be safe.
Matter of fact, I don't even like one-touch-down, which is on the GTO. Sometimes it works, sometimes not. I would like to bypass the BCM and wire the windows directly to the switches [or relays].
Why am I on the computer at midnight [NY time]? Because it is too cold to be out anywhere. Zero degrees Farenheit [about 18 degrees below Celcius, and wind is about 20 MPH. Hope you are warmer in England.

NYC is simply not used to such bitter cold. We can usually depend on the Atlantic to provide a bit of warmth. The Mid-Western states regularly get frozen solid. This morning, I woke to a 50 degree house, as the heating system could not keep up. The [cooking] gas-fired boiler can be adjusted for longer on-cycle, just need to find the literature. When outside temps rose to 15, the house warmed up to 70. But the birdcages will remain in the bathroom [warmest room] until tomorrow. My Yorkie is wearing a cardigan. Thanks, U.K., for a cute breed of doggie.

I was working with someone form Rochester NY, I recall she complained that the temperature had not risen above zero for weeks. Not 0 degress centigrade but farenheit; -18 degress C. Brrr.Edited by notransistors on Monday 15th February 01:15
So what's a few spiders with fangs that can pierce shoe leather?
Or snakes that kill if you just look at them.
Or cute little blue-ring octopus that can kill an elephant.
And sea snakes, sea snails, rock fish, jelly fish, inland crocks. All very dangerous.
You gotta love and respect the late, great Steve Irwin.
