I took my Monaro off the road back in October and it hasn't been fired up since.

I hope to get it out of the garage again next month for its service and MOT, is there anything I should be doing before I start it up again?

It's been on a trickle charger the whole time, tyres inflated to 40psi, handbrake off and a full tank of fuel.

A few people suggest that you pull some fuses and turn the car over a few times before firing it up? Is this really necessary after less than 6 months off the road?

3 months? Nah; turn the key and wait until the pumps are primed and turn it over. You could pull the injector fuse/fuel pump (not sure what you can do on the Monaro) and prime it but it won't hurt the car to fire it up.

3 months is nothing really.

Start, drive, enjoy.

As others have said three months isn't really very long at all. Just start her up, let it warm up and take it for a spin! smile

With LS2 Monaro, you turn it over with the accelerator to the floor which disables the fuel injectors.
