My VXR8 has done about 88k miles and therefore those belts at the front have gone round a lot of times.

Any suggestions how long they last or when they should be replaced?

Thanks,

Steve

I'd be rather shocked if they havent been changed a couple of times already !

No idea what service intervals people give for that sort of thing, but I wouldnt be running a belt like that over 30k at most.

They're cheap enough to change every 20-25k quite happily.

As far as I am aware no belts have been changed and I've had the car form 500 miles and its is usually serviced at Monkfish. I am sure I would have seen that on the (long) bills.

Depends on your abilities.

But on a level of 1-5....definitely a 1 ( ie should be very easy )

Make sure to have a crayon and draw a sketch first smile

And a torque wrench to lever the tensioner.
