Has anybody tried using an illuminated inspection probe to examine inside there.......box sections and chassis rails? as I'm thinking of buying one.(For the car!)

I will have had my Monaro for 9 years this August and I'm thinking about retreating the underside.
When I first got the car I used a cavity spray wax and I would think this may have started to fail by now.

You can buy cheap USB borescope/endoscope cameras very cheap.

I'd say buy a wired one as they're cheaper and bound to be more reliable.

I bought a WiFi one ages ago to hook up to my tablet, but it can be awkward to pair it up to the tablet at times, plus stupid thing needs batteries.

Best buy a box of tissues as grown men have been know to cry when looking at rotten chassis rails (well I did anyway)

You really had me worried when I read......buy a box of tissue!!! I pray to the automotive Gods all will be rust free?
I read somewhere that the UK Monaro's got the benefit of improved rust proofing because of the American GTO.
So lord knows what the Australian home market Monaro's had? maybe nothing.
Do they even have to grit the roads in Australia?

I will take steveturbo's advice and get a simple straight forward inspection probe. The Wifi thing sounds too complex for a 1970's guy.
