Bugger - Speedhump vs Bumper, new bumper needed
Discussion
HI Everyone,
I've damaged my front bumper on a speedhump - was crawling over it but still must have caught it and it's cracked the buumper (Didn't find the bit that broke off)
Does anyone know which exact bumper this one is - looks like the factory SS Ute bumper, but is this shared with any of the Monaros and does anyone know of any for sale?

Looks like the Monaro VXR bumper. IIRC Monkfish used to sell these for a little over a grand. Gary might have a used one. I think he had some pattern fibreglass ones too.
I'd be tempted to have it repaired. Surely the missing part could be recreated out of fibreglass/filler and the rest could be plastic welded?

Thanks Arnie :-)
The towing eye was done when I got it - I'll get some pictures when I take the bumper off, but it looks like it's just some thickwall 50mm square box section welded to the bumper mount, then a towing eye welded to that - I was planning on modifying it to a screw-in towing eye and redoing the mesh, will do that when I get a replacement bumper (or repair this one).
I'm reluctant to do a fibreglass repair, as this flexes a fair bit, and being low catches the odd speed hump, but at a grand for a replacement I'mm willing to try
