BCM indicator repair
Discussion
seems to be that this is a common fault. dunno if its been covered before.
My mates vxr 500 has a sticking indicator light when arming and disarming.
the relay is easily available from monkfish
its inside the bcm which plays hide and seek behind the fusebox.
The casing simply clips off. then the relay can be desoldered and the new one soldered back.
its a straightforward job, youll need a decent iron and desolder pump.
then refit and working fine..
he struggled to find anyone to touch it. I removed the bcm and a mate of mine works for a company that makes automotive switches so is handy with a soldering iron..so a quick and simple fix

Sorry mate didn't take any pics.
The bcm is just behind the fusebox.held in with one plastic screw
Then tug downwards once youve taken the 5 multi plugs out
Inside the bcm which is half a dozen plastic clips is many relays but only one matches the one that he bought to rectify it
Was a simple case of soldering then
