So after losing one of my Walky fog covers (see HERE the car has been looking a bit scabby at the front end. frown

Plan A - to buy a (slightly cracked) replacement cover from another forum member - never happened, so plan B was put into action. Ie buy a pair of the carbon fog surrounds linked to in the thread above. These cover the holes drilled for the Walky covers. A family member has just returned from Oz and hand carried these for me. cool

Seem like they'll do the job, although there are no sticky pads that I was expecting (?) so I'll need to source these before I can fit them properly. Just offered up to the car to check fit / for pics. Car not as clean as it could be, but you get the idea...

Get some number plate tape for putting them on.

Comes in handy for all sorts of things. smile

Great minds Araf... I already ordered some 1mm number plate pads. I do already have some, but - house move - they're in a box somewhere wobble

Will post some more pics when they are properly fitted.

For info : in case anyone is thinking of ordering : the first order was sent to someone else. The second order arrived - with two offside items. Nearside sent to complete the order, so I have a spare offside, but that process could have taken a long time if I was asking him to post to the uk..... scratchchin

Put them on yesterday. I'd already bought some 1mm thick double-sided registration-plate adhesive pads. Cleaned both surfaces with isopropyl alcohol. Half a dozen sticky pads on each side. Doddle.

Nearside was a slightly better fit than the offside.

Unfortunately the cars now even dirtier, so I'll just repost the picture when I'd balanced one in place, and pretend that is the finished job. Voila! biggrin
