Thinking of selling ro vxr

Hi can anyone tell me if there is a good time of year to sell these cars . It's an almost standard car with low miles .took me 2 years to find it .owned 3 years and only done 3000 miles . So it's just a waste sat in my garage .

Is this different from the other super-low mileage red Ro that sold through a trader recently?

I would assume early Spring/Summer would be the best time to sell.

If petrol prices hold it should help too.

I think these cars are niche enough to sell at any point - it'll always depend on who is looking and what your car is like (price, too).

I'm always watching them on AT or Ebay - there are plenty about at the moment.

Annie it's all standard apart from a wortec exhaust and ripshifter .not too keen on ripshifter although it does its job .i might just put it on eBay in the new year .ive put cars on p h before but seems to attract time wasters and scammers , dealers seem to sell 13 to 16 k depending on mileage and cond . No point it being sat in my garage doing nothing .probably regret selling it after its gone took me a while to find it .

It's 6 litre .james is a dealer and at the other end of the country . Nothing against dealers but if you go through a dealer you get less as a seller and pay more as a buyer . Ideal for people part exchanging .

Dealers are good if your a buyer, I guess a few on here are following the black Monaro link on Facebook!. Buyers beware. Yes you do get less for sure when you sell but sometimes it is well worth it to avoid all the dreamers and boy racers that want a test run with no hope of having the funds to buy. Gave up on selling mine privately to many idiots wasting my time.

Sorry for confusion mileage is 33000 ive done about 3000 in 3 years.

I've sold lots of cars over the years and can usually suss out timewaster .but agreed dealers are useful and I have had an offer off a dealer which is a little less than I would like but they too have to make money. and one private offer .i am going to advertise it on ph next week and see where it goes.i,m moving house soon so need to clear 4 or 5 cars .
