Hi

I imported this beauty last July into the UK, but now need a new clutch. I contacted Linden Specialists who don't have one in stock, and it will take 4-5 weeks to get one in from Oz.

Anybody got any other ideas I can try? I was told that the USA was out of the question because the engine is Holden, not a GM Chevy 350???

Thanks in advance!

If you have a part number, can possibly ask one of my mates to bring one over. Depends how heavy it is i guess. He is coming over on the weekend.

Hi

I don't have a part number, but apparently it can be purchased using the VIN number.

This may be a bit of messing around for him, but if he is up for it, the VIN number is 6H8VSK80UXL436851, engine number VM671831.

It's a big call so I fully understand if he cannot manage it.

Many thanks

Oz Reg was PMC 821, and it's a 1999 Holden VS Commodore Ute.

It's a big call so I fully understand if he cannot manage it.

G'Day Heath, it's Rob Apsey.

Hopefully Raggyman can help you mate, but if not I have sent you an e-mail with the phone number of another Guy called Dominic. He may be able to help.

Be good to meet you & see the Ute.

Good luck,
Rob.

Hi nice to see something differnet come over. If you wont to get it sorted and Raggyman can't help then try www.jhp.com.au/. I have had quite a few parts sent over. The biggest being a stering rack. That took 8 days only because it was in customes for 2 days. Good luck

Hi

Thanks for all the respones, it seems I may be sorted with a local clutch company ordering direct from one of the contacts you guys gave me.

Not a cheap part though, but at least it's an original piece and when it's fitted will have a two year warranty with the local company!

The thing is, spinning the back wheels is so much fun, I'm thinking about ordering another one just in case!

I'll try and post some piccies of it so you guys know what you have been helping me out on. Any ideas where best to post them?

Once again, many, many thanks!

Heath
