Congratulations on the new baby.

Just a short word of advice - Start shopping around now for a baby seat.

Unlike me who arrived home with my new pride and joy Monaro only to find the baby seat doesn't fit - Even though I checked the manufacturers (Britax) website and it said it did.

The rear seat belt is to short to go over a rear facing rocker seat also.

Might be worth having a really good look around - I did notice that the Vauxhall technical book that comes with the car does mention a car seat or two.

I also hear Recaro might make one that suits

Would be a shame to give up your car.

PS - Getting kids (i have two, a 3 year old and a 7 month old) into the back is not as bad as the missus might make out.

Charlie you must be my personal stalker that was my girlfriend but shes recently been upgraded to my wife, quite a costly upgrade and comes with a few niggling issues such as more nagging and less time to go down the pub but I'm working on this, however one plus is that the wife upgrade has produced a bun in the oven.

I was hoping to come to your RR day this Saturday but I have my works xmas do in Birmingham which is a shame, sounds like it's going to be an excellent day.

Thanks for the offer I may well do that.

Speaking of stalking, would I be right in thinking you have a blue Subaru estate (rr livery down the side) as I was outside your house at the lights tonight when you arrived home, sounds lovely that flat4 !
