Hi where are you based , my choice would be an exhaust builder and get them to weld two new sports cats in for you , Hayward Scott Essex or top gear Stalbans , I'm sure you have some thing nearby

If its just standard cats and exhausts at present, I'm sure there are bound to be some standard items someone has removed from their own cars ?

Failing that, get some decent hiflow sports cats or something

I would sports cat it's a good chance to upgrade to a better flowing exhaust the sports cats are not as expensive as I expected , that's unless the exhaust system is getting on and needs changing , my Monaro on a 2004 is never happy when it's mot time but I won't do cats until I have too , but don't know if the cats are ok and it's the normal that you expect with the Monaro on emissions as I know they are not great for emissions

Thanks folks for advice,
The only thing is Im up in the back of nowhere so even getting simple jobs done involves lots of travel.
I had the exhaust system done by Stainless Creations in Falkirk as the original was just too Quiet.
That involved a whole lot of time and hassle but in my opinion worth it.
I suppose the best option is the sport cats
These things are worse than having two wives.
Are there any advantages of the sport cats as opposed to replacing with OEM

Sport cats will give you better flow (and noise), and are cheaper new. They won't work quite as efficiently, so emissions will be closer to the limit.

The people that made your exhaust will be able to do them for you.
