I seem to keep coming back to these cars as I'm planning to change next spring

Can any direct me to a useful forum ?

Any good review videos to suggest - searched youtube but mostly useless comparisons to M5's etc

I'm fairly local to Wantage and there is a dealer there , have they got a good rep ?

Well you can't go wrong with the new Gen f gts they are great cars and with a WP upgrade can give you some nice hp figures, just need to buy the colour you like

Or do you mean the previous model gts ?

Its your fault ! Was checking out your car yesterday Looks great

Is the auto any good , I heard the manual is clonky and a bit slow

Do they need super unleaded or regular , service intervals etc

Will probably pop up to Bellingers in the week and get some details and maybe book a test drive

Haven't driven an auto, it is slower to 60 than the manual as standard. I like the gear box on it, quite a short throw on it.

They can take 95, I generally just use BP SUL though.

Annual/10000 mile service for warranty.

They will have you out in the demonstrator like a shot if they can see you are serious

Well I went to check the one out in Bellingers, they are prepping it for the road and have a test drive booked on Wednesday

Cant believe the wait though, nigh on 12 months from order !

Just my opinion but maybe look at buying a 2009 VXR8 with all the mods done, supercharger etc. Drove the GTS great car certainly but was lucky enough to pick up a very good Bathurst S so got 590bhp and saved a packet. just got to have patience and the right one will come along.

So there are no new gen f's for sale in the uk ?

Not that I know of, there are a couple of nearly new ones around though

Yeah I dont know much about the prevous models , its the Gen F that has drawn me to the brand but i'll consider an earlier car if they are of a similar spec

I have to say Bellingers would have struggled to do a worse sales job

I wont be ordering one for sure, a 12 month wait, £5k non refundable deposit and no pcp option makes it a non starter, if the right car comes up in the meantime I might check it out but I'm looking at other options now

They do not need to push the sales unfortunately, so they only sell to those who are dead cert like I was. Only finance VX do on these is HP, PCP residuals are just too hard to figure for such low volume. 12 month lead sucks donkey balls compared to my lucky 3 month lead though!
