Black R8 in the hard shoulder on the M25 nr J11. bonnet looked like it had jumped up and hit the screen... frown

Hope whoever it was is okay! Didn't see the plate as I was going the other way.

Not very nice for the driver & anyone else in the car, hope all are ok.

Going on from that, i notice that when my bonnet is shut there is still play up & down (movement).

Is there any way i can, sort of, tighten the shut of the bonnet please. Has anyone else noticed this when there bonnet is shut.

Regards.

Dave.

Bonnet came up at 85 smashing itself on windscreen and front roof
So lucky to be able to get it to hard shoulder without crashing
Have to see insurance co position as they may want to write off which then may be buy back depending on parts prices
Engine was rebuilt September frown

Gutted for you, but buy it back if poss. Mileage is nothing on an ls. Will be easily sorted imo. Just fit a stronger bonnet catch....

Well done for extracting yourself and the car from the traffic and across to the hard shoulder at 52.81mph, well below the limit on the road. wink

Heartbreaking, but replaceable. You're what matters.
