As long as you remember that with eBay not everything is as it seems. Having Bosch printed on the side means nothing.

Get a price from Euro Car parts too. smile

yes cheaper to buy things like batteries from ECP via ebay and collect in store than to just walk into their store and buy one.

I had a platinum prestige 096 fitted on mine on Friday, no issues at all. £60 from motor spares I think.

096 fits with a little hammering of the battery tray, or an 027 slots straight in.

If you do want to go for Bosch Silver, I can personally recommend them. I've had one in my Monaro for some time, and the charge lasts for ages when the car isn't moved. It'll easily start after not moving for 6 weeks without being on a trickle charger.

The last battery I fitted to my Monaro VXR was a Bosch Silver 096, as mention before, the battery tray lip just needs a slight hammer tap for it to fit, however, I've just got a YUASA 096 (also a 5 year warranty) delivered for £78 for the GTS, 80AH and a bigger cold start AH than the original battery on there as well.
