I was looking at their alloy radiators and was wondering if anyone had experience with them? Good/Bad/Indifferent?

When I was in the market for a new radiator several people on here advised against the Mishimoto:

This was before MonkFish started stocking them so to avoid any potential headaches I ended up with a new OEM one. If Roger now thinks they're ok, then they're probably ok...

Would be interesting if they're lighter than OEM, although I know you're not going to make a huge difference given they're still going to be full of coolant hehe

I fitted one about eight months ago quite easy really. They are 3 core oppose to the oem which is 2 core. Life time guarantee with it too

I'd read a lot of stuff about them failing before so never bothered especially with the hassle of getting it from America. They may have a lifetime warranty but that isn't much help when it fails and you're on the M6. I believe they are now much better, and that is probably why Monkfish are selling them. If I needed a new one I'd get it from Monkfish as it isn't that much more than OEM.

Ordered one at begining of sepAtember, even though it was showing in stock, it wasnt and was advised 4 week wait. I agreed to this as i could use the time to fit some headers. 4 weeks went, contacted mishimoto who advised another 4 week wait.

Yes they have a lifetime warranty but if you have to wait 2 months for a replacement, it may be more hassle than its worth

Cancelled the order and bought an oem one from monkfish which arrived the next day.

The oem rad will fail at some point. So for a few quid more why not give an alloy one a chance.

My OE radiator is 10 years old and still going...not that I'm averse to an alloy unit, but the OE option isn't terrible.

The oem ones seem to fail after +/-10 years of service, the mishimoto ones have been reported to fail much much sooner than that

And speaking of Mishimoto quality...............

My Mishimoto radiator cost me less than $300, because I made a complaint to the company after my 'lifetime' upper radiator hose got me stuck one cold January day. They promptly sent me a large coupon good on any future purchase, as well as the new hose kit.
