I noticed on one of the LS forums that Harrop HH122 superchargers came with a CD (probably CD Rom) and was wondering if anyone has one as I could do with getting some info off.

HA ha, the real sound is much better.
It's supposed to have an exploded diagram and other stuff on it. I need to take my HH122 apart as the intermediate bearing has a fare bit of play in it and perhaps needs an inset making for the housing or a bigger bearing fitting if I can get one.

Kyle at Tim Adams Race Engines has just stripped my 122 and reassembled it with new bearings, might be worth asking him where he got them from and what's involved. I don't think he'd mind helping out.

Generally it's the centre bearing journal that's misaligned on the intake casting so get it checked before you go replacing bearings on the same axis as you'll knock it out in short order.

Thanks Issac I might give Kyle a call just to see if he can help.

I spoke to Roger at Monkfish and he said not worry about it it will be fine as long as it isn't noisy, but I want it to be right and with him not seeing it I don't think he'll fully understand what is going on.

The bearing is loose in the housing on the manifold and if the outer part of the bearing wants to spin around of it's own accord it can. I am going to remove the shaft and take the bearing out and try some hard Loctite to see if it reduces the play, it's only a cats whisker of play but it's annoying me. I'd rather try that first than stripping everything off the manifold and start machining insets to fit in the manifold.
