WOW ........you all must have been waiting for a video as the web site just posted 60 hits on that video in the last 5 mins !!!!!!!!!!!

it might have slowed the site down a bit so be patient if the download is slow....

maybe retry a few times......

No Probs. Hope everyone enjoys them. I guess the biggest thanks goes out to those who 'left in style' and gave me the chance to capure it. You know who you are

I think I provided around 80+ 6mp pics so it might take a while to reduce, select & post that many.

Enjoy

Nice vids!

Did anybody catch my exit? (GM04 MON)

At the meet before last, at the Ace, I made the same mistake of leaving the TC on and completely fluffed up the exit.

This time I made sure the TC was off, once the wheels were spinning I was pumping the throttle up and down to alter the engine note

The burnout of the Day MUST go to Steff in his Blue Maloo Ute, Loads of smoke & noise, plus a visit from the boys in a bull wagon just after. Did anyone get that on Video ?

Just a funny note to add. I was one of the last to leave the Ace, but as we left in the EH, one of my Daughters said, " don't you do a burnout" I laught & said I couldn't if I wanted to !

Great day had by all.

EH*ROB - brilliant... I have have a question though.. Are you taking your daughters to enough of these events? Maybe just her age, but the girls that I have been taking for a spin want to do just a constant stream of burnouts. Much like you though, can only get away with it in the wet. The tires are too grippy, atleast that is my excuse.

Got the following link, wish I got Steff in the UTE, as well, wasn't sure that he was going to plant it or not. I am sure that we could get him to do it again next time just make sure we have plenty of video camera's around.

This is of Will doing a burnout. He did a much better one earlier, but missed it. DOH!

Raggyman's is not hosted on the club site so he may have reached his download limit......

Ah ha, can view it now, that run was for a passenger that had never been in a holden. When I finally left I went left & around the mini-roundabout which I think was more entertaining, nice one Jace.

Yeah, should be working now. Wish I had taken footage of the Maloo. No doubt there will be alot more chances, and this time will make sure that I bring along someone with a video camera.

Anyhow, enjoy..

Just on another note.. went up to London last night for a drive to visit a mate. Got pulled up three times by guys going, what car is that!!! One of them asked, is that a 4 door Monaro?? Well not techinically, but to save holding up traffic, yes it is a 4 door Monaro. Went visiting one of my mates, and none of her flatmates were around. Came back, and they were saying, "Man did you see that Commodore parked out side, wonder who's it is, already taken 10 photos of it, just in case it wasn't there when you got back". They were well chuffed when I said it was mine.

Aha!

As Paul (UKHSV) informed, I did promise a vidoe of the Australia Day event.

The Video is ready:

Prepared as a DVD by my mate Paul Newland very shortly after the event, but due to a couple of issues: minor typo on the original (i.e. the date), and the titanic size of the DVD; he did not want it to go out until he had compressed it for streaming.

Paul has now corrected the typo and here it is in streaming form.

Thanks for the efforts Paul!

Ace Video

You will need Real player to play this.

Enjoy,

Apologies, I meant also to note that the engine noise at the end of the Vid is Will's motor.....

Good roar!
