Wait on VXR8 windscreen until mid Jan!
Discussion
Previous owner of our Ute had an Autoglass screen fitted, the day before we collected, as the old one had a dirty great crack in it.
It took about a week to get it to the depot, and then have it fitted. They ain't all bad, and IIRC the screen is French.
Maybe it's a Peugeot one I got.

Autoglass, now you are having a laugh! Probably end up with a screen for a Corsa based on mine and a few others experience. Glass an is worth a try though.
In my experience it's all down to which branch you use. I had a drama with the woeful MK branch years ago when the GTS was being worked on at MF. Took them ages to respond and then turned up with a VXR8 screen (FAIL), then took an age again to fit the correct one but they did such a poor job I had to get it fixed under warranty. The Leicester Branch were absolutely brilliant both in communications and the engineer who turned up to fix it, he put a brand new screen in as the old one was not properly bonded in. Can't fault the Leicester lot! And at least Autoglass had a no quibble warranty for me.nickwaiheke said:
Or the windscreen glass shattered when you started your 8?
It was yes as I drove the car out of garage I caught the bottom of the screen which was wrapped in bubble wrap and it fell over and broke, stood it back up and still in garage, need to get rid of it some how snowwolf said:
