Is there a second hand market for these systems or are they just scrap money?

Catback should be worth around £400. De-cat pipes around £100 IMHO.

If you are selling, put one up on eBay, and I don't think you would need to wait very long.

Not sure about that. IIRC Monkfish have sold second hand Walkie cat-backs for around the £250 mark, as they create quite a bit of cabin noise.

Interesting, can't say i've noticed that myself even on WOT, i think Neil said mine had the middle boxes taken out, i know something was missing, anything will help really towards the new system.

You would notice if it was the case - classic 1600-2000 rev drone when cruising, from what I remember. Maybe it was the Monaro systems? At my age, I'm lucky to remember to get dressed before coming to work in the morning. wink

My Walkie cat back with gutted stock cats was still very quiet, even with the X pipe fitted. Didnt suffer from drone either, still cant work out why mine was so tame.

I now have the full system with 100 cell cats and there was a little drone before at around 72-78 mph before , now however there is just a heavenly sound whenever and wherever I drive lol

Things have clearly moved on. Admitedly three years ago I sold a WP performance for £400, and bought a WP Supercar for same money. But then, I guess most of these cars have had an exhaust done already, and that would leave small demand now.

yes the one thing I don't miss, I don't think it being auto helped either. Mine now sounds very muted in the cabin in comparisonearsfrown
