Hi Everyone,
So the exhaust has arrived, and got it fitted today.

Admitedly, didn't do it myself. The weather was bad enough, and I am glad I left it to a garage. It turned out that cat flange studs are welded onto the flange, and with them being too short, they had to be cut out, and knocked out.

Then the rear quarter pipe was not an entirely good fit, so some mods were required around that. Overall, it was ok, but the fact it is 3inch system, probably takes away the clearance margins.

Now, could it be a better fit? I guess it could.

Was it value for money? Certainly.

Does it sound good? Awesome. Plus no drone at speed when you go into EDI mode and let it choose the amount of flow.

What is most important, I got rid of the nasty whistling noise that always acompanied the acceleration at WOT.

It is worth mentioning, this system features H-pipe. The original stuff had a kiss pipe. Perhaps that made it whistle?

I have got some pics, vids, and pics of my DIY bimodal controller kit. I have found a fuse that has 12V after ignition, so am happy to share my findings, in case anyone would like to go down the same route.

Despite my concerns around organising the shipping, and time it took tongrt it over here, I am glad I waited. AlthoughI am sure it could have been done quicker, and certainly will, now that the seller has used UPS once.

If I could be of any help to anyone who is considering, just shout.

Thanks
Bart

Hi smile
I will try to upload some vids here tomorrow, and will make a FAQ over the next few days.

As long as you can take my word for it, it is awesome. Not as loud as my previous R8, but at the same time something that will not make your ears bleed whilst cruising at 130mph on the Autobahn.

Overall, very happy and do not feel like I would have to be going long tubes and decat, unless I was chasing more power. Which will not happen whilst it's under warranty.
