any one seen the write up of the gen6 camaro on PH main page?

nice little write up, and the price for a v8 seems a little low? how many would be tempted if they did eventually start offering a RHD option

The price is correct; the UK adjusted value is a little higher in £ than $ once you factor in all the usual nonsense we have to pay.
As for RHD? Nope. I've already spoken with the dealer network (since Chevrolet is going away) and they are hoping that a dedicated Corvette/Camaro brand will sell more cars. That said, no one is going to want a LHD Camaro with a RHD Mustang nearby are they? So I expect the usual fail there.
I'm tempted. Sorely. Again, the dealer said to expect a Q3/Q4 2016 UK arrival (if at all) but that was back at Goodwood FoS in June, so who really knows.

The last UK Camero was spoilt because you had to pay full wack road tax for a LHD car when a US Spec Camero was way cheaper to tax, so why even bother? The car was also ruined by bloody awful LED rear lights, not to mention dumbo sized door mirrors!
The whole concept was a shambles, take one good looking icon of a car with a great engine and F**K it right up.
Mind you Ford have done a fantastic job with the Mustang....no Recaro seats, again horrible rear lights which look like some chopstick crashed it into the cheap section of Halfords.
If you want an American car put up with LHD and buy the real deal.
The only hope is Australia might get a RHD Camero, so maybe in a couple of years it will be possible to get one here?

The 5th Gen was testing in Australia - didn't happen. I don't see the 6th being any different.
Entirely on your side on this; get the LHD and get the right spec (Recaros and 20s on the Mustang, definitely) and also cheap(er) tax. The UK is missing a ton of stuff; bonnet vents, dials, seats, wheels, power... still nice to think you can buy one direct in RHD though, so I'm not going to poo-poo the idea Ford are selling it here.
