Petrol fume smell in cabin
Discussion
I had this also for a short while, and when driving, thought maybe i had a leaking injector or something, but had MF look at it when in for some other work, and also Holden Racing, and nothing could be found, then it just went away and has never returned.
Bit weirded out by it and was panicking at the time, but if the experts can't find anything (and I sure as hell can't) and it's gone now, maybe it was just a seal had dried out, or something re-seating itself. Who knows.

Well had the new petrol cap on now for a year and smell has come back . Spoken to Roger at MF and he says maybe the tank has rusted through ( ! ). Has anyone had this happen to them ? Seems a bit drastic.
Gonna push an endoscope in the tank to take a look, hopefully its something else. Maybe try an aftermarket cap if the tank looks OK.
