So, the facelift GenF has arrived (with Holden at least), and even on their conservative cars, we have little bonnet vents. I think thy look quite good. smile

The LS3 is also fitted, which everyone was expecting. I wonder what HSV will give us?

I've driven one of the new V8s.

Huge step up from the 6.0 cars. It is brilliant smile

The more I look at the the bonnet vents, the more they look naff- to small and wrong place.

Unless they are to cool the bonnet struts biggrin

That is a rather unnatural view though. They do fit neatly between two bonnet creases. I'll see if I can find another shot....

eta: Do they make sense now?

What is with the return of chrome these days eh! I like the front end, look rather large and menacing.

That looks better than the overhead view. Still quite far back though. Chrome is a bit OTT . Nice overall

Bigger Bonnet vents should be better placed central down the bonnet

Remember, this is just the Holden, not the HSV. I'm guessing that only the Grange will have chrome in the HSV range.

The E3 GTS was splashed with chrome front, back and rear. I've had it removed from mine and replaced with matt black

The bonnet vents are in the ideal place to pull the hot air a way from the exhaust headers and the heat that builds up at the bulkhead area.
