I got my HPTuners a couple of weeks ago, and I've been logging most of my journeys to work, and then trying to make sense of the results during the day

It really is a superb tool though, its amazing how much goes on inside the PCM !!!

I'm trying to see why the car is slower since I put the cat-back on. I'll put the standard exhaust back on this weekend and do some more logging, to see where its all going wrong...

Does anyone have a bin file from a VXR ? I'd like to compare it to mine before I start making changes..

UK HSV may have one. I think Paul has now tuned every year/model.

I use the Autotap scan tool for codes and live data logging.
Theres a new add-on called LS1 live, which allows you to make map changes on the fly.
Has anyone tried it? I think with some other systems you need to make changes and save to the PCM. then try it. etc etc.

I think the LS1 Live is still in Beta format ( ie testing ) not for commercial sale.

the change of exhaust has increased the flow out of the engine so the "Volumetric efficincy" is now wrong so you need to sort out your "ve", but to do it you will need to invest in a WideBand sensor and control unit.

Hi,

Nothing to do with the forum, but I can't help wondering - Are you a fan of Derek & Clive (Live)?
