Autocar gets a VXR.

In todays Autocar mag they have the first article on their long term (20000 mile) test Monaro VXR. And they already like it. In the year 2000 they did a similar thing with an HSV GTS, one of the reasons I ended up getting my car. They would also like to hear from existing owners at [e-mail]

I was going to suggest that our VXR owners sent in an email.

I will send an email from the club, and also point out that his problem with the gear shift is so easily fixed that they should stop harping on about it!!!!!!!!

Also I might correct the bit about the "optional" 19" wheels.........they are standard on the VXR!

Is it worth suggesting they look at 'playing' with exhaust, airbox and ecu ?

I have just recived a reply email from steve sutcliffe and he says he is going to fit a sports exhaust that Vauxhall are producing (I think this is the one from "Miltek" that Stu Harris said about......

steve also said he will keep an eye on the forum so if any of you VXR owners have anything to say post it here.................
