Well I decided to remodel the passenger wing mirror on the garage wall yesterday (ouch).

So it is now fixed up with black electrican tape and duct tape (nice).

May I take this opportunity to tell other Monaro drivers that this modification really isn't worth it and to stick to the standard wing mirror.

PS anyone any idea what a new one is going to cost to fit?

Doesn't it make your car more aerodynamic!!???!! Just remove the one on the other side so you car doesn't turn that way by itself!!!!!!

I think they are approx $130 in Oz

It cost me £150 in total to get a new wing mirror over from Australia and get it painted. A local body shop mixed the paint from the paint code on my car and charged me £40. Fitting was free as I did it myself all I needed was a screwdriver.

Tiler,

Err not exactly.

This is why I haven't arranged a meet yet.

Only joking - I'll give you a ring and we'll meet up for a coffee in a few weeks.
