G'Day Holden Fans,
Just wanted to say,
Na don’t think I would ever buy one of those BMW things,
To over priced, also every woman & her dog has one. Probably a nice car, but I would want something different with loads of V8 grunt & torque! like the Monaro or Clubsport (GTS UK)A car that makes you feel like you are driving it, not some high teck computer, as in the Buzz Boxes from Japan.
I would have liked the Monaro sold here in the UK badged as a Holden, but at least it is here hay! I give credit to Vauxhall for seeing what a great car it is, using the Monaro name & showing the UK that you can buy a lot of car, that is well made, for a sensible price. That’s what Holden & Vauxhall are all about, not paying for a badge!
In time the VXR brand will be recognized as a performance product.
But to tell the truth, I do look at the badge first to see if it’s a Holden. Maybe if they put a Holden badge on one of those BMW things I might consider getting one hay? (Na) Got to be Australian Mate !

Do drivers of: BMW/Merc/Audi/Porche/Lexus/Jaguar/Saab etc. get stopped every time they park with questions from admiring public about their car?
I do
Do they get let out of side roads?
I do
Get flashed by other drivers whilst driving for a chance to wind down the window and exchange views?
I do
Get stopped by pedestrians with questions?
I do
When they see you in their rear view mirror do they pull frantically out of your way?
Nearly always
Do they get everyone trying to burn you off from the lights?
Never
Get massive interest at car shows/venues?
Always
Do these drivers have a smile on their face driving their cars?
Hardly ever
