Welcome Martin (and friend).

Have a chat with dayspeed. He's got a 2004 Holden hsv maloo R8.

If you can make it, come down to the Ace Cafe this Sunday as there's going to be a big Ausie meet for all the Holden/HSV/Vauxhall owners. You'll be able to talk to other owners and get as much information as you can digest. See this thread for more information & details:

Where abouts in the country are you based? Most of us are scattered all over so I'm sure there's somebody close.

G'Day Martin (from Somerset), Welcome.

As the LS2 (6.0) is not avalable here in the UK until March I think, Yes the Car would be rare in this Country ! Stu Harris from Vauxhall will be bringing a LS2 (6.0)Monaro to the Ace meeting for all to see.

The Maloo is not avalible from Vauxhall YET ! We will have some Holden Maloo's at the Event on Sunday, but they are the older LS1 (5.7) so I would say PLEASE come along with your mates car as we would love to see it !

The Monaro is based on the 4 Door Holden Commodore. The HSV Monaro comes as GTO for Australia & the US & VXR for Vauxhall.

You will find out a LOT more if you come along & talk to the owners.

Regards,
Rob Apsey
