Bad news:
Just had an e mail from 5. They say they haven't got the rights to screen it this year. However,my interest has been passed on to their aquisitions department.
So it looks like wait and see.

What also won't please you is that Sony own the DVD rights. I have spoken about acquiring the review of the 2004 season and was told by a supplier that it might not be out for a few months yet. When Chevron had the rights...the blue covers I believe, the Bathurst 1000 was released soon after the race and the season review normally by Xmas. I have already picked up and watched the BTCC 2004,the BRC 2004 and the WSBK 2004 reviews, all very good.
Not sure why they can't get hold of the 2005 rights. Maybe a UK PayTV station has got hold of it like they have the UK soccer over here and all the cricket that isn't played in Australia as well as the WSBK.

good news, motors TV is starting up their coverage again...by showing repeats of this years' meetings starting on Saturday night (9pm I think) with the Pukekohe event.

Yup it's on Motors TV - just a reminder for you Satellite dudes it's on Sky Digital or you can point any old digital receiver to Eurobird 28.5E 11.488 GHz, V, S1, 2/3, 27.500 Msym/s as it's not encrypted.
