Back in June Monaro owners were changing the Vauxhall badges for Holden.Page 21 June 17th I praised Vauxhall for biting the bullet and bringing this lovely car to the UK,saying are we inverted snobs in wanting to remove the Vauxhall badge. Now we are full of praise for Vauxhall and the badge issue seems to have been forgotten! Do we agree?

Don't know about badge snobbery but it's turned it into a more of a Q car as most people are not aware of the name Holden[/quote]
I agree mate, I have nothing against Vauxhall after all they are part of the Great General Motors.
It's great that Vauxhall now have the Monaro, because it has lifted the Vauxhall brand & people are begining to find out who Holden are.

Great to see the amount of kudos it's getting. Always hoped it would come here, from right back when it was just the VT concept car. That shape didn't deserve to fail. Let's hope the Ute family follow it.
Re the badge debate,it's a Holden. It is not a Vauxhall with the badges changed. It could only be called a Vauxhall if it was made here. The Holden name won't get well known all the time the name is changed to something else.
