And I was saying this years ago

Yep, they are being retrofitted into westfields, gd's, the ballistic Marcos, mega ballistic TR7 (if it ever sees the light of day), Mk 2 Granada, Moslers, Ultimas, capri, cobra's etc, chimearas, cerbs etc. Think Rover and then think lsx.

Oh good, so if I can't get my car to work any more, I just need to get myself a little kit car to put the smile back on my face! At least I've got a well maintained, low mileage engine to put in it!

Hope you can fix the holden

I'd like to see an lsx in a dax rush so could you do one of those please That would be pretty cool imo. The car looks like it's been on steroids so the engine would compliment it nicely

Or look for a car with a mega wide engine bay and try turbo's or a blower.

I hope it can be fixed too. The Dax rush is definately a mean machine and an ideal toy, but I'm a bit of a wimp when it comes to using something like that as a daily driver at this time of year!

it had to be like this didn't it. Soon as I've made this post, I stumble over the 1st review I've seen of these cars:

It's a pity they didn't choose this engine for the Invicta S1 (www.invictacar.com). Instead it get the quad cam Mustang V8.....a mere 4.6litres

That's quite a nice car, reminds me of a merc sl from the side. Those quad cams are quite fat though!

The quad cams are huge, but despite being only a 4.6 also have huge potential. The multivalve heads can flow a lot of air, especially at high revs. It isnt uncommon to find tuned versions of this engine, making good power all the way to 8000rpm.
