Hi,
I have been contacted by an owner of a VXR who has chipped a rim (VXR smoke silver) and is looking for recommendations on wheel finishers!!

I know "Cibbitus" has had a few chips on his rims - did he find a good wheel man to fix them???

Any help would be appreciated as the salt is down on the roads now and it will make short work of the exposed alli.............

I know an excellent outlet in Sunderland, but I doubt that your VXR driver lives nearby (unless Jagsy has struck gold).

If you're near the Medway towns try Lepsons. I've used them a few times with no problems. Good Lads.

Spoke to stu harris about this the other day....any competant finisher should be able to do it. It requires the wheel to be de-lacquered, reploished and then relacquered. Cheaper than £600 retail for a new one!!!!
