Good review with Nedell comparing it to the V8 MG round the Anglessy track.

"Bring it on" said Nedell.

Some reference to Holden (sorry Stu).

The only thing he wanted was more V8 noise

yes I saw it too!

managed to get most of it on tape

The Monaro clocks up another win

We all know that sorting the lack of exhaust noise is not a problem

Good review would have been gutted if it had not managed to beat the MG.

I had the use of a Devil Yellow car, great colour real head turner

The downer was that it also lots of living bugs when the car was not moving!!

I test drove the MG V8 before I put the deposit down on the Monaro. Nice if you like the boring flat cap and slippers image, but it has absolutely no extras whereas the Holden is fully loaded.

Big minus was the MG salesman who asked me to drive it as slowly as he did when he took me out, so no chance of actually getting any feel for it WHERAS the Vauxhall salesman positively scared the crap out of me to demonstrate the cars potential.

It was nice to see Anglessey circuit being used too.. must get back there... did anyone spot that they did one shot with the car going the wrong way round the circuits first corner (Abbots from memory?) so they could get the sea behind it.?

Cheers,
Matt
