Upgrading and Warranties

Since I'm new to all this.

Will upgrades affect the Vauxhall Warranty at all if I want to put a new exhaust / engine remap etc.

I do not want the expense of losing the warranty on my car (at least in the short term)

There are plenty of AUS/US 'remaps' available - a 'UK Remap', one that will be verified at Abbey Motorsport, is still 'under construction', shall we say..

I don't think replacement manifolds and an exhaust should cause a warranty problem, but a remap - not sure. Stu Harris from Vauxhall is the man to answer the question

Any modifications to the engine/transmission will invalidate the warranty unless they are approved by Vauxhall.
