Why did you not sell it privately out of interest.

Honestly, and dont shoot me down. I think they are boring to drive, too sophisticated and too much of a 'risk' to own. Big bills, not parts avail. unless you go to monkfish etc. For a 430hp car, they are heavy and slow. I guess iv'e just been spoiled with light cars and lots of power.

I would say though that they are great as weekender and sound the nuts smile

Shortest time iv'e ever owned a car, lol

Obviously i respect your opinion and I am not here to pick holes in your choices but I have seen a couple of comments recently about risk and bills and I am curious as to what people expect from a 430bhp car in terms of risk or bills.

As far as i can tell, the VXR8 is pretty reliable and affordable in the grand scheme of things. Not sure how anything else in the same ball park is going to be cheaper?

Also - its an LS3 - pretty common really so i dont get the parts comment either.

Certainly cant argue with the heavy part though and - i guess - its not as rapid as 430bhp might sound.

Fair enough smile

I find mine quick enough for a road car - I knew it wasnt going to be GT2 fast. I don't even hanker for the 'charger that many fit smile no doubt they are weighty, but they are big cars (the weight is comparable to Panamera, XFR, E63 etc).

Each to their own though - what's the replacement?

and i also respect your opinion, everyone has one smile

Normal bits for the car are silly money, namely the lower arms at £200 and mine needed 3 doing, it needed discs which are silly money, and pads also which are stupid money due to the size of them. Tyres, £400 a corner etc etc etc.

The last straw was when a E92 M3 pulled my pants down approx 10 times in a row in a drag race, and it would KILLED a VXR around a track. although the price difference is quite a bit.

if i ever owned one again it would HAVE to be charged. Another 100hp or so makes them a weapon i reckon. smile

I don't understand. confused

You ask who has bought your car, and then trash them in general. Can we take it that once you find out what they paid, your parting shot will be to tell them how much the garage made from the deal? scratchchin

They're not for everyone, so I have no problem with you moving yours on - though I don't think that it being the shortest that you've had a car is the fault of the car.

LOL calm down dear. I was asked why i didnt keep it and gave an honest opinion. Am i not allowed to do that?

And no, i would not disclose what i sold it for and what they made on it as i couldnt give a sh*t TBH as i got what I wanted for the car not what someone would pay for it. Christ.

Also, i only wanted to know who bought it so i could tell them they got a good'un and not some stter

laugh I'm happy. hehe

MY opinion is that your opinion is out of kilter with others on here. Could you have bought too hastily, rather than investigating the marque properly first?
