Hello,

I didn't spot it, but a mate mentioned it in the pub.
Who are you?

If you're into the cars, give me a shout and we could have a little get together going with the other known Gloucestershire Holdens (Mine and KiwiHSV).

A mate of mine 'Geezer kev' is now seriously on the hunt for a SS ute as well!

Cheers

Eric

Great News for us - just brought a R8 Maloo Red Ute! Still in New Zealand of course, will ship it over next year. Back in NZ again during December, look forward to catching up with you all in January.

Re Utes for sale
Try www.holdenute.co.uk based in Petersfield Hants,tel:01730 895463/07755 966388
or look on the Auto Trader site. There's a place called Euro Imports tel:01243 545121 at Barnham W.Sussex.
Bit of a trek from you, but beggars etc.

Kiwihsv you lucky ***********!! I've just got back from holiday in NZ and couldn't even find a Malloo R 8 to even look at. According to Moyes in Auckland there are physicaly none left to buy now until the new VZ version comes along! When you bring yours in how are you going to get it through SVA etc as the rules have become much stricter?

Matt,

I remember!

I didn't register that you where a Worcesteronian.
Thats excellent.

I Adlibbed a bit when I said Gloucestershire Holdens (as you two are actually in Worcestershire, BUT close enough).

I read in the other topic that KiwiHSV is thinking of going to Birmingham for the 27/28th Nov. How do you fancy that.

I am about to post that me and Pauline are going.

Sounds like a good reason to meet at Strensham Services for a convoy up there!

KiwiHSV, what do you think?

Cheers

Eric

Eric, Annette & I will be heading up although we have no idea where Strensham Services are!!!! As we are only 40 minutes away from the NEC, just let us know and we will meet you both anywhere.

Matt - hope you can make it, look forward to talking further.

Des,

Strensham Services are about 5 miles south of you at the M50/M5 interchange.

If you want to go in convoy? We could meet you at the Worcester junction (J6 or J7 ?) just as easy.

Cheers

We live a couple of minutes from M5 Junction 6. We could meet at the Three Pears/Travel lodge and go from there - what time?

Des,

I was thinking of arriving there (M6 J6) about 10:00am. That way we will get to the NEC about 10:40. Enough time to meet up with Jagsy and co.

Cheers

Des,

Give me call when you get to NZ. I have some info on getting your speedo converted here in NZ before you send the new Maloo over, and may have a spare Frequency Converter by then also. Also saw a fantastic part in the States on the way through that will help with the SVA. Call me on 021 397-123 when you get in.

I spotted the Ute again.
looks like a SS Ute (VX or VY).
It was dark when I seen it, and I seen it in traffic at the last minute.

This time on the B4008 heading south thro Gloucester.
Near the Peel centre.....
approx. 18:00 hours.

Cheers

Eric
