Twin Turbo anyone??????
Twin Turbo anyone??????
Looks good, I've just mailed them for prices/availability, watch this space...
I tried Picadors yesterday but didn't have much joy, £650 + vat to have my back box hacked off and replaced seemed a bit dear, I can do that in the garage without having my trousers pulled down. Now where did I leave that length of stainless pipe ?

Here is some more info I recived from Chris Davies:-
Paul,
Thank you for your recent email. Just for your information, I’m Australian, my background is endurance and GT race engineering. I have just left G-Force Motorsport in Aylesbury to start my own company at the grand prix circuit at Silverstone. All the Monaro parts we use are developed in Australia by a company part owned by a friend of mine who engineers Todd Kelly's HRT commodore. So we can get our hands on just about anything to do with big bhp Monaros. We are also the preferred APS distributor in the UK, and will have the twin turbo package available for the Monaro early 2005. I have a meeting with the Technical Manager of APS on his way back from SEMA on Saturday, so may be able to give you an update on costings and availability shortly. I have been dealing with APS for nearly 3 years and their products are top quality – if a little over-engineered.
We should have a new SS ute here shortly, and will be pitting the ute against a Ford Lightning hopefully on Top Gear (or at least the magazine). I have a lot of magazine editorial contacts so we are hoping to push Monaro performance in this country when our new dyno is installed in January.
2ND Email:-
As soon as the rollers are in the ground we will organize a rolling road day for all your members. We can run as many as 40 4wd cars in a day, so 2wd is no problem. The twin turbo development ute at APS runs 500bhp at the wheels (around 570bhp at the hubs on other rollers), so it should be interesting for all. We’ll keep you posted.
Thanks Chris for the info and we look foward to meeting up...............

Good news on the APS twin turbo...Peter just posted today on the OZ ls1 site that they had just passed full emissions testing.

Hi Graham,
Is this the same as the exhaust fitted to your salesman Chris's demo CV8 Monaro? I test drove that one a while back and there was a noticeable resonant drone around 2000rpm; if the exhaust you're offering now is more comprehensive than that and free of the droning then I'm VERY interested in getting one fitted
Caspy - do you get any droning with yours?
