Weekend of Saturday 27 and 28 November 2004

For the ladies a visit to the Good Food Show, NEC Birmingham.

For the chaps a visit to Gaydon motor museum and / or the bike museum next to the NEC.

The Good Food show is about £12 plus special events - I don't know ticket availability at this stage....

And some accomadation will be good near by - TBA.

I will contact Gaydon museum for interest.

Please confirm if you can make it - and don't forget if to mention the if the girls are coming too.

I phoned the museum today. The lady seemed very happy that we were interested to come along.

We can get group entrance at £6 each, but thats for 12 persons - so COME ON.

She also said we'll be able to park infront of the museum for pictures.

If you haven't seen their website take a look, pics infront of that building should be good.

I take the response as a big no.

We'll be still coming down so anyone wishing to meet up nearer the time give us a shout.

Jagsy,

Myslef and Pauline will be there.

Pauline will probably want to go to the Motor Heritage Museum as Cars are of more interest to her.

KiwiHSV, see suggestion in the SPOTTED! red ute topic....

Cheers

I might be able to make it if you can drive slow enough for an old bloke ?

All this talk of 500bhp skids my pants.

Right great to hear you can make it.

For those who are going to the Good Food show, the tickets are cheaper in advance.

Either call 0870 902 0555 (quote GFM) or book online at www.bbcgoodfoodshow.co.uk - enter GFM when prompted and confirm you are a Good Food reader.

We'll definately be coming down early Saturday morning and doing the show Saturday - probably arrive 09.30 / 10 ish.

I've yet to sort accommadation.

For Sunday, for those who stay over for a meal on Saturday night, I propose a visit to Stratord for a nice walk and a spot of lunch.

I'm researching accom at the moment, I'll post more tomorrow.

I wish! Unable to run the software as my laptop is still away being repaired, and my office PC doesn't seem to like HP Tuners - it locks the pc during the install process (it's an old Advent 0.6mhz unit) So I've been unable to even 'play' with the software at home before connecting it to the car. I'm hoping HP Tuners will run ok on my laptop when it returns.

Mechanical things are much easier the AP brakes that I fitted to the car myself, are AWESOME!

The accommadation near Stratford seemed a no go TOO BUSY.

Finally got booked in at Lichfield - really nice place to visit if you never been. We are staying here

www.innkeeperslodge.com/lodgedetail.asp?lodgeID=20

but Lichfield has plenty of B & B's / Hotels
