Monaro VXR exhaust

Vauxhall offer the Monaro VXR exhaust as an upgrade for the CV8. Have any of you guys tried this?
I was wondering if it sounds better than the CV8 pipe which seems like its got a dead cat shoved up it.
As I figure it, its a cat-back system which is a bolt on replacement. Would appreciate any thoughts on the matter, or any suggestions as to a better system. Cant really go for open hedders as I have to live with it all day!!

V8D from what I have read the combination of headers and exhaust will give you a significant gain. As a daily drive a good exhaust and headers should be bearable and also give you that distinctive V8 sound under acceleration.

I thought that the dealer fit exhaust wasn't available at the moment. I believed they had some brought over but they were only mild steel and not up to the job.

Speak to Picador Vauxhall in Southhampton, they have a CV8 with one they have made up (cat back) sounds great, I have it on my VXR.
