No way man - two of us in Woking with blue CV8's, they are just way too common now

Great to have you on the board - and I suspect I'll be seeing you around very soon

I've got 22 across 4 cars

I'll have a Monaro one day I'm sure. Just have to stick to my six pots (and 1 four) for the time being.

32cylinders, 20.8 litres accross 4 cars and a spare 5.7 V8 LS1 (Monaro) engine in the garage having some "work" done on it !! (and not even any shares in any oil companies !!! (now where's my stock-brokers number)

edited to include
Dunno about the Monaro, but I do fancy a Pontiac GTO

edited again to include
Not sure about that colour though

Small world, you'll have to come down to the Essex meet at the Red Lion. What do you drive?

James, see my profile, I have a HSV GTS-R (which is now for sale!). Will try to get to your next meet, work permitting.

Thanks for the welcome, guys. Re the number of pots, in total its 36 over 5 cars, plus a spare SBC (L-82)currently used as a doorstop!
Cant believe another Blue CV8 in Woking !! I live just outside Woking - Maybe a pint sometime.

Hi Dave, yes a pint is definately on the cards, I'm in Knaphill to be precise.

My speedo is fine but I have had the Linden stage 2 mods and once you hear and feel the difference to mine you will be up the M1 like a shot as I'm sure you know what a real V8 should sound like which is nothing like a standard CV8.

Dan The Man, I live a mile from you ! Pop in the Kings Arms in Bagshot on a Friday night and play "spot the Fat Bloke" !! My vette has 4 straight thro pipes at the mo so I know what an SBC should sound like !! Dont think its legal but no sods complained yet!
Looked at the stage 2 on their website - thinkin about it, but I really fancy a blower ! That Vortec thing is very popular in the Vette community, as is the Carroll unit. An LS1 edit remap on the rollers is a great way to find all the power that GM Chevy hold back for model upgrades. Did your insurance co. go loopy cos it aint stock anymore? - V8Dave
