G'day mates
Can't make my mind up about the new Torana. Sure it's 'interesting' and different,but is it too much like a re-modelled Vectra? Now there's a thought.
As it's a concept at the mo,if it does get the green light, perhaps it should be the next generation Vectra.
And if Kevin Wale is still at Vauxhall then, maybe he'll push for it.It would be great to see them here as a Vectra,especially if them good ol' boys at VXR breathe on it,although looking at it they may not need to,looks ok as it is.
That hatchback though reminds me of the ill fated SSX.
Hope this one doesn't go the same way.
Does it have the same visual impact as the old A9X?
Now that WAS a looker. Whadya say Rob?

Yes mick, look a bit like a Vectra, but don't all cars look much the same these days ?
Don't bet on not seeing the SSX just yet, they said the same about the topless Monaro & now there's talk of that being built.
I think the Torana will happen ! as Torana was an icon in Aussie more so than the Monaro ( my opinion ) But NOTHING will ever better the A9X in my eyes !! even the L34. (thats the 4 door for the Poms )
No car will ever shake the Mountain like Brockys A9X of 1979. Poll by over 1 sec, lead entire race even during pit stops, won the race by 6 laps & braking the lap record on the very last lap. A9x Torana's first 8 cars home. What a car !
And don't get me started sandy(Phase4).
